Southeast Asia Fruit and Tree Challenge!

We have been travelling in Southeast Asia for a few months now, and one of the greatest privileges is eating all the delicious fruit here. During our visit to the back canals of the Mekong Delta our cool guide Linh had us guess what kind of tree or plant different fruits grow on. Despite actually having seen some of these plants before, we did not have much of a clue. It was definitely fun guessing though and more fun actually learning what grows on what.

Many of these fruits, in fact most of them, can be bought at the bigger supermarkets at home. You have probably eaten quite a few of them, but do you know how they grow?

Use your friends, family, relatives, the internet, an encyclopedia of fruits if you have one lying around, anything really and cheat as much as you want! The first person to match up the pictures of the fruits and trees with the correct names gets a surprise price! A cool one, promise!

Simply write down the name the fruit / plant for each number and email us the answers through the contact page or use WhatsApp. We accept English, German, Vietnamese (?) answers, no matter. Happy guessing!
